The Cycling Seamstress was re-branded in 2014 by Maria Wright, who has over 30 years experience in bespoke dressmaking, pattern cutting and design. Maria is based in Hurstbourne Tarrant, near Andover, Hampshire.

As well as offering dressmaking services, Maria can undertake alterations or re-modelling of your favourite garments for ladies & gentlemen's tailoring. Group and individual sewing tuition with Maria is available and lessons tailored to what the client wishes to learn, from beginners to advanced.

Maria offers a professional and personal service to each client, whether it be a simple alteration or an outfit designed just for you. Attention to the small details matter to Maria and she is happy to work in consultation with customers to achieve a wonderful 'one- off' garment.

The Cycling Seamstress offers top quality tailor -made clothing. Clothing alterations, fancy dress and accessories are also undertaken. No job is too small (or too big!) and as Maria has an 'Appointment Only' policy, you can be assured of individual, undivided attention.
